Farewell & Open House
Mike had his farewell on Sunday, July 23rd and open house immediately following. Here he is with a few of his peeps who showed up to support him.
The meeting was great with a talk by Dad, and Mike finishing up the meeting with a spiritual bang! There were a lot of family who came from far and wide to see him and had a good time being together over the weekend.
Thanks to Mom for organizing so much food and a nice place to hang out together, even in the 100 degree heat. We are at T-Minus 10 days and counting till he goes into the MTC.

Mike, you gave a great talk. Not that I was surprised at how well you did, but you are already comfortable in front of big crowds, well spoken, and really brought the spirit. Dad's talk was great too. It was cool to hear a little family history and see how our family really has made an impact in the world. It's Awesome to think that you are about to go carve your own chunk out of the lone and dreary world and help build the kingdom of God and change so many more lives for the better. Have fun in these last 10 days and get ready for your whole life to change. We love you so much.
